This disc golf tournament in Brewer Park, held by the Flight Risk Disc Golf Club, will support Project Johnson, a crowdfunding effort by KCPF and Grand Rapids Disc Golfers Unite (GRDGU) to renovate the course in Johnson Park. Johnson Park's disc golf course is a popular spot for beginners and skilled players alike to "go discing," and in recent years it has fallen into disuse. The renovation plan consists of replacing all 18 baskets and tee pads as well as installing 2 practice baskets.
The tournament is two rounds of singles where disc golfers will play through both the North and South courses in Brewer Park once. Levels include Junior, Novice, Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced, and Open.
